Coach Pa Futuro

Coach Pa Futuro participants, a group of trained and selected professionals will guide Small & Medium Enterprises (SMEs) through this transition

The Ministry of Economic Development has launched the Biz2Biz Program, a national initiative designed to strengthen the resilience and competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Curaçao. The program focuses on digital transformation and sustainable business practices, helping local entrepreneurs adapt to a changing economy.

During the launch event, certificates were awarded to Coach Pa Futuro participants, a group of trained and selected professionals who will guide SMEs through this transition. These coaches are equipped to support businesses in becoming more future proof, both digitally and sustainably.

Developed with support from the Landspakket, the program includes a range of activities:

  • A webinar hosted by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry
  • A digital and sustainable self-assessment tool for businesses
  • Contributions to events such as Curaçao Tech Meetups, Innovation Week, Global Entrepreneurship Week, and Entrepreneur, Let’s Collaborate

According to program manager Tamira La Cruz, Curaçao is now part of the Carib-Export SME Digital Checkup, a regional initiative that helps Caribbean businesses assess and improve their digital readiness. Curaçao is already showing leadership in several areas.

The Biz2Biz Program supports SDG 8 Decent Work and Economic Growth, SDG 9 Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure, and SDG 17 Partnerships for the Goals by promoting innovation, collaboration, and inclusive economic development.
