Changing the landscape for a sustainable future: Chogogo invests in solar energy.
In December 2023, Chogogo Dive & Beach Resort Curaçao, in partnership with Dynaf, officially opened a solar-powered carport that supplies clean energy to the resort during the day. This project is a major step toward reducing carbon emissions and supporting Curaçao’s green economy.
Solar Carport Highlights:
⚡ 400 solar panels of 415 Wp
⚡ 2 Growatt MAX 80KTL3 inverters
⚡ System size: 166,000 W
⚡ Monthly production: 22,721 kWh
⚡ Daily production: 747 kWh
This initiative supports SDG 7: Affordable and Clean Energy and SDG 13: Climate Action, demonstrating how renewable energy can power tourism sustainably.
