Child First Foundation – Strengthening Futures Through Active Parenting
Child First Foundation, founded on Curaçao in November 2009, focuses on one clear mission: creating the conditions for children to grow up with the active presence of both parents, this approach helps children build a life that is mindful, purposeful, productive, happy, and significant.
The organization raises awareness about the universal right of every child to develop a meaningful relationship with both parents. This message is especially important in situations where fathers are no longer living with the family, or when parents experience conflict that limits access to one parent.
Child First Foundation promotes policies and supportive environments that encourage positive father involvement. This includes community education, advocacy, and the development of structures that help both parents remain engaged in their children’s lives. The foundation emphasizes that affectionate, supportive fathers contribute to stronger cognitive development, healthier emotional growth, and increased self‑confidence in children.
