On September 21, 2024, more than 150 volunteers joined Maduro & Curiel’s Bank (MCB) for a major cleanup at Boca Sami, alongside organizations such as Jong Colombia, 7 Boca, Carmabi, and Stichting Uniek Curaçao. This collective effort was part of the Curaçao Clean Up, an annual event that promotes global solidarity and environmental responsibility.

Volunteers removed waste from beaches and coastal areas, helping protect marine life and preserve Curaçao’s natural beauty. These actions support SDG 14: Life Below Water, SDG 15: Life on Land, and SDG 13: Climate Action, raising awareness that a clean planet is vital for our well-being.

MCB expressed gratitude to all “Cleaning Heroes” who contributed to this successful initiative. Together, Curaçao shows that community action can make a real difference.
