Mi Negoshi strengthens Curaçao’s entrepreneurs with accessible support and shared services
Mi Negoshi Shared & Support Services is Curaçao’s buinsess hub created to empower micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs). The center officially launched on 29 November 2024 through a partnership between the Ministry of Economic Development (MEO) and Stichting Beheer MKB Fondsen under the Curaçao Chamber of Commerce.
Located at Kaya Junior Salas 8, Mi Negoshi offers tailored guidance, mentorship, shared services, and a space where entrepreneurs can collaborate, learn, and grow. The initiative reflects Curaçao’s commitment to strengthening its local economy and creating an environment where entrepreneurship becomes more accessible.
With MSMEs representing 98 percent of all registered businesses, contributing 30 percent to Curaçao’s GDP, and providing 60 percent of local employment, Mi Negoshi plays a crucial role in national development.
In 2025, Mi Negoshi supported 105 entrepreneurs, nearly half of whom formally registered their businesses at the Chamber of Commerce. The team launched 96 coaching programs, with 45 completed, and organized workshops and training sessions for more than 300 participants.
The initiative contributes directly to SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth by helping entrepreneurs elevate their professionalism, improve financial planning, strengthen their business structures, and prepare for sustainable growth.
