Voedselbank

Voedselbank Curaçao is a project of Fundashon Yudansa pa Kòrsou, a foundation that has been active since 1977. While the foundation’s official name means “Aid for Curaçao”, it is now widely known by the name of its most impactful initiative, the Voedselbank, or Food Bank.

The foundation was created to offer practical support to families facing economic hardship and living below the poverty line. Today, it runs two key projects:

• Voedselbank Curaçao, which provides and distributes monthly food packages to families in need.
• Tutti Frutti, which delivers fresh fruit daily to children in after-school care programs.

Both projects are run entirely by volunteers. The foundation depends fully on donations, gifts, and sponsorships to operate. Suppliers often offer discounts, and in some cases, donate goods directly.
