Tene Korsou Limpi Trailer Debuts at Exclusive Viewing Event in Curaçao

Tene Korsou Limpi Trailer Premieres at Exclusive Viewing Event

On Saturday, February 7, GreenKidz Curaçao and Aisvarya Productions hosted an exclusive viewing of the new film trailer Tene Korsou Limpi at You Meet Curaçao. The gathering offered partners and guests an early look at a creative and impactful short film that places Curaçao’s schoolchildren at the center of an important conversation about caring for the island.

Tene Korsou Limpi explores what happens when children step into the roles of adults and take on responsibilities as police officers, lawyers, and judges. In this imaginative role reversal, they challenge grown‑ups for polluting the island and for behaviors that harm Curaçao’s natural beauty. Through humor, storytelling, and a playful tone, the film encourages viewers of all ages to reflect on their actions and take responsibility for keeping their communities clean.

The short film was produced entirely on Curaçao, including scenes filmed inside the historic courthouse in Punda. It has been officially submitted to the Curaçao International Film Festival, which means only the trailer can be shared at this time.

Created by Alex Roose in collaboration with Jay Hemrajani of Aisvarya Productions and Lisa Koppes, the film combines local talent with strong educational value. The project has now been made available to GreenKidz to support awareness campaigns and classroom activities focused on responsible behavior, community pride, and environmental stewardship.

More than a film, Tene Korsou Limpi serves as a starting point for new conversations about cleanliness, responsibility, and the future of Curaçao. It invites children, families, and the wider community to imagine a cleaner island, guided by the voices of the next generation.
